Cameron Charbonnier is a Democratic political strategist with over a decade of experience serving in various political campaigns and local city government. He most recently served as Campaign Manager for Boston City Councilor At-Large Annissa Essaibi George in her bid for Mayor of Boston, managing a staff of 12 and a $2.6 million budget while securing her one of two spots in the general election.

Cam has played leading roles and served in advisory capacities in presidential, congressional, mayoral, and other statewide and local races. He was the Massachusetts State Director for the Biden for President Campaign, managing statewide activities and growing a volunteer operation of several thousand, tasked with voter outreach to crucial battleground states across the country. He also helped to lead Massachusetts’ volunteer operations in southern New Hampshire for the Hillary Clinton for President campaign in 2016.

Cam spent eight years working for former Mayor of Boston Marty Walsh, starting on his 2013 campaign for Mayor, serving as Dorchester Regional Field Organizer. After Walsh’s victory, Cam spent seven years working for the City of Boston in Walsh’s administration, serving in various roles, starting as Lead Advance to the Mayor. Most recently, Cam served as Director of Strategic Initiatives, in which he oversaw the planning and execution of all major city events.

He was born and raised, and currently resides, in Dorchester, MA.
